Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce brings legacy B2B event to the north of the region

Last year Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce revitalized their legacy B2B event at IWM Duxford to meet an untapped need in the business community, the success was so huge that they’re bringing it to the north of the region in June 2024.

KingsGate Conference Centre in Peterborough will be the hosts to CambsB2B North, bringing the community across north Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Stamford together to enable businesses to reach new audiences, catalyse trading opportunities and discuss local, regional and national issues.

Charlotte Horobin, Chief Executive Officer of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “CambsB2B is our annual event and exhibition to bring the business community, across all sectors and sizes, together. After the success of our event in 2023, it was only right we came back in 2024, bigger and better!”

Charlotte continued: “We have a jam-packed day lined up for you, full of exhibition stands showcasing amazing businesses, engaging presentations from business leaders on current issues and speed networking enabling new business relationships. We are hugely grateful for the support of our sponsors, exhibitors and speakers, enabling us to host a memorable and inspiring event for our region”.

The one-day event will include a B2B exhibition hall, informative presentations on key issues, pop up clinics, and the Chamber’s legendary speed networking sessions.

The Chamber will be hosting a Business Leaders Breakfast prior to the event opening, with speakers representing the British Chambers of Commerce and the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Business Board, discussing ‘The Future of the Cambridgeshire Economy’.

Two panel discussions will take place across the day, the first being ‘Developing Local Talent Pipelines’, hearing from local employers who play a significant role in the local employment landscape and have a unique story to share. Led by Anne Corder Recruitment, speakers include representatives from Marshall Skills Academy, Inspire2Ignite, Inspire Education Group and Mick George, who will be sharing their experience of working with HMP Peterborough to recruit prison leavers.
